Fifty male Wistar rats were used for this study and were indiscriminately divided into 2 study teams of twenty 5 (25) animals every. the primary sub-group was used for the anti-ulcer studies; inhibitor enzymes (SOD, CAT, and MDA), gas, membrane bone cell count, and also the mean lesion score, whereas the second sub-group was used for the stomachic secretion study. every sub-group was divided into 5 teams with 5 animals per cluster namely: management, gastric antacid (20 mg/kg), L-lysine (100 mg/kg, two hundred mg/kg and four hundred mg/kg).
