To explain multilevel atomic structure, a graph-model is presented. We can visualise the double configuration in alkali-metal atoms with hyperfine structure and nuclear spin I=3/2 as a four-verticed graph. Coherence is viewed as links. In the static graph-model, we introduce the transition matrix, which defines the connectivity matrix. In general, the transition matrix defines the dynamic graph-spatiotemporal model’s action. It also describes several links and vertices that circle back on themselves. Short pulses are used to excite the atoms, allowing the hyperfine structure to be resolved. Without invoking the energy principle of the propagated pulses, entropy associated with the proposed dynamic graph-model is used to define transitions as well as local stabilisation in the framework.
